The river Gypsies, locally known as "Bedi", are an ethnic group in Bangladesh.
Their way of life is completely different from ours. Their main vehicle is a travel boat.
Gypsy children are being deprived of many benefits starting from the civic amenities of the country. They are being deprived of the education system. Therefore, they need a special education system. Because only education can take them from the dark world to the world of light.
There is a boat-school in our area to teach Gypsy children. I think we should come forward in their education. We already have plans to help them learn.
We decided that we would provide them with free school elementary textbooks. First, we will work to give them basic education of English, Mathematics, Computer, and other available technologies. We can present our laptops, computers, and mobiles to them and show them what technology can do. We can also learn about their morals and humanity. They deserve a chance to shine in life.
So we must cooperate with them in learning to build a better society as conscious citizens of Bangladesh.
